JAMMU, Feb 9: The troops of CISF on Thursday apprehended three suspected impersonators at Jammu Airport.
Police sources said that CISF personnel on suspicion intercepted three persons when they were on way to board a flight for Leh.
"Due to some suspicion, CISF personnel asked them to produce documents and during frisking, the suspected persons produced fake Aadhaar cards following which they were detained on the spot," police sources added.
However, police added that the suspects as per the initial findings are labourers and were about to travel on someone else tickets by impersonating.
"They had produced fake documents, which raised the eyebrows," police added and said that they were handed over to the Police Station Satwari for further action.
The nabbed persons were identified as Yasir Hussain, Parvinder Kumar and Mohd Rafi, all residents of Doda.
A case under relevant sections was registered and investigation started. |
