Shiv Sena accuses J&K admin of ignoring peoples' issues | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 18: Shiv Sena Jammu & Kashmir unit has expressed resentment against the functioning of J&K government and said the present dispensation has not shown seriousness to address the burning issues raised by the party. Addressing media persons here today, Manish Sahni, President J&K Shiv Sena unit said that the party has raised several issues related to women and unemployed youth of Jammu & Kashmir with regard to reorganization of State Women's Commission and unemployment allowance for educated youth but it is unfortunate that the both the issues have not been addressed in letter and spirit, terming it as fuzzy and full of ambiguity. Sahni appreciated the government for showing serious concern towards the issues raised by the party but the same needs reforms and clarity in the government directives. He said the formation of Women's Commission was announced by the government but no information was provided about its office and office bearers for its functioning. Sahni said that monthly allowance of Rs.600 to 1,000 is not acceptable to the party nor the youth of Jammu & Kashmir. The application fee for non-gazetted and other posts including class IV is Rs 200-500 and the cost of books of subjects for the preparation of written examination ranges from 1,000-2,000, he emphasized. |
