Jammu, Feb 18: A video of a boy standing along with an old man has gone viral on the internet. The boy is heard alleging that officials are not paying any heed to their genuine complaint.
The boy is heard saying, “The SRM company that is constructing road from Chenani to Mantalai has dumped the muck in the old man’s land due to which 30 saplings of different fruits, including lemon and apple, have got buried and ten have suffered damages.”
“We had approached the concerned tehsildar who said he has no time.
Then we went to SDM and from there to Deputy Commissioner. The DC marked the application to the concerned officials. But no one has come to the spot to assess the situation. Our appeal to administration is that our loss should be compensated at the earliest,” the boy is heard saying. |
