| Manika-Sathiyan enters Top-10 ITTF rankings | | |  agencies
NEW DELHI, Feb 19: India's Table Tennis mixed team of Manika Batra and Sathiyan Gnanasekaran on Saturday entered the ITTF mixed doubles Top-10 rankings. The mixed team have been placed 10th with 909 points and became the highest ranked Indian pair.
The Indian pair has won the World Table Tennis Contenders title in Budapest last year. They have reached the semi-final of the Contenders event in Tunisia.
Moreover, they made an impressive run to the quarterfinal of the World Championships in Houston last year.
"Huge Milstone! Breaking into Top-10 in the World in Mixed Doubles along with Manika Batra in the latest world ranking list," Sathiyan tweeted. |
