Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Mar 5: Dozens of Jammu and Kashmir Cements employees on Saturday staged a protest here demanding the release of pending wages and gratuity benefits to the retired. Holding placards, the employees, including elderly people, assembled at Press Enclave on Residency Road raising slogans against the authorities for not releasing their salaries from 2019. MA Shah, General Secretary of Retired Employees Front, said in a statement that six employees who had retired and died had left behind families with no source of income. He urged Jammu and Kashmir Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to release the pending amounts to the employees. |
