Srinagar-Jammu highway opens for traffic | | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Mar 5: The Srinagar-Jammu highway was on Saturday afternoon opened for vehicular traffic after clearing landslides and shooting stones. Hundreds of stranded vehicles including trucks carrying essentials were allowed to move to their destination, traffic officials said. The highway was blocked at Pantihal due to landslides and shooting stones. The Border Roads Organization cleared the debris and made the road traffic worthy. The highway is the only road link connecting the Kashmir Valley with the rest of the country. |
