Lessons learned from lockdown, journey ahead
3/25/2022 12:09:09 AM

Vijay Garg

Lockdown means lockout. For the first time in my life came across a word where you have to imprison yourself with your own hands. Only leave the house when necessary. Yes, the corona epidemic in 2020 introduced the whole world to many new words and changed the way of life. First a 21-day lockdown was done. After that he went on increasing according to the situation. However, during the lockdown, I got a chance to know life very closely. Let us know what 10 lessons the lockdown taught us-
1. Stock- Yes, probably for the first time such an opportunity has come when you have to stock so much of food items that you don’t know anything about tomorrow. You had to stock up on even the smallest things. That’s why always try that even if it is a small thing, bring it before it is over.
2. Contingency Fund- We often wonder who saw yesterday. That’s why often, without caring about tomorrow, they do not value money. But this lockdown has taught that have fun but also respect money. Always keep a contingency fund. Take it out only when absolutely necessary. It is a lesson for all age groups that saving is also very important. Not only this, get health care insurance with time. So that you do not have to worry about money at the last moment.
3. Closer to the family- Before the lockdown, we could only give limited time to our family. Many people lived in other cities. He could not come home for several months or even a year. But during this time we understood the importance of our family and this time is definitely bad but definitely brought us closer to the family. At the same time, many times they like to live away from the family, but in bad times, first of all, home and family were remembered.
4. Fitness- You can get fit only by going to the gym. This is absolutely wrong. Everyone would have understood very well. You can keep yourself fit even by staying at home. Do yoga, exercise daily.
5. Digitally Friendly- Yes, doing everything at home during lockdown. It seems that the whole world is in your hands. Doing all the work online. Whether it is business, job, studies or any other course. We are connected with technology.
6. Lifestyle- Have lived two lives in the year 2020. Before corona and after corona. But there is such a difference between these two that our whole lifestyle has changed. Yes, earlier we were junk food lovers but now we like to cook at home. became health conscious.
7. Connect with Nature- Yes, the year 2020 taught us to live within a limited range. During this we stay in the same place. Where there is home, there is work, there is entertainment and there is also nature. During this time many people started growing vegetables at their own homes. Those who never got time for gardening, got time for them too. Meaning you can live life in limited things, even by living in a limited circle.
8. Online Facility- Yes, during the pandemic the online facilities of the product were limited to the urban area only. But increasing features during the pandemic made everything easier. The advertisements shown on TV started to look real. Because every facility started getting available in rural areas also. From this it can be understood that development is needed not only in urban areas but also in rural areas. Only then will real development take place.
9. Means of earning- Pandemic has exposed the reality of life. Many people depend on only one job and earn. But this is wrong. In the changing lifestyle, keep another source of income along with your job. So that even if you lose your job, you can remain financially capable and take care of your family.
10. Nothing Impossible- Doing all the work by staying at only one place during the pandemic, connecting with the whole world by sitting at home, earning while sitting at home, taking care of health at home, making savings, being tech savvy, etc. Things that often seemed impossible to us. But in the time of pandemic, everything learned is possible.
The pandemic in the year 2020 has turned the pages of everyone’s life. Yes, whoever is going through this pandemic, there will always be two pages in their life. bcb For Corona and AC After Corona. This lesson is a life lesson for today’s generation as well as for the generations to come. So that he does not make any mistake with nature.
