SRINAGAR, Mar 30: Hours after a local youth was found lying dead on the road in Anantnag district, another body of a teenage girl was fished out from river Jehlum, officials said.
Basit Ahmad Dar was found dead in Seer Hamdan area of Rampora Mattan under mysterious circumstances in the south Kashmir district.
Meanwhile, missing Srinagar girl was recovered from river Jhelum at Chreshbal area of Mujgund on Wednesday morning.
The teenager, a resident of Rainawari area had been missing for the past few days. It was alleged she committed suicide by jumping into the river from Cement Kadal Qamarwari on March 23. |
