SRINAGAR, Mar 30: A person was killed and two others, including a cop, were injured in a road accident in Sopore township, officials said. Traffic police officials said that an army vehicle and a tiller had a head on collision at Sopore township of north Kashmir's Baramulla district, resulting in injuries to three persons. "All of them were evacuated to a nearby hospital where one of the injured succumbed to his injuries", they said.
The deceased was identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Ganai, a resident of Choora Pattan, the officials said. The injured are Yaseen Ahmad a resident of Choora and a police Constable Hilal Ahmad Wani, a resident of Kakapora Pulwama and posted at Kalaroos Kupwara. Both the injured stated to be out of danger, they added. |
