| Construction works kick started in ward number 4 | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 31: Chander Mohan Gupta Mayor JMC along with Priya Sethi and Sunita Koul councillor of ward 4 today kick started the construction work of drains & laying of tiles at Chopra Lane opposite Rawalpindi Sweet Shop Jain Bazar Jammu.
Speaking on the occasion, Mayor said that it was the long pending demands of the locals as it is a thoroughfare and the passersby especially senior citizens & school going children were facing great hardships while passing through the area and after the sincere efforts of the local councillor, this much needed development work has been started today with an allotted amount of Rs. 5 lakhs only.
He said that under Jal Shakti Scheme (urban) government has already taken the initiatives in a concrete manner to provide potable drinking water to each household within a stipulated time period. Sunita said that various development activities are being undertaken in the ward. |
