Two courses culminate at SKPA Udhampur | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Mar 31: Courses on, “Drone threats-strategies to deal with” “Cyber Forensics” culminated today at S.K. Police Academy Udhampur. 30 Police officers and 15 prosecutors from J&K attended the training programmes. Mohan Lal, SSP, Deputy Director (Indoor) SKPA Udhampur was the chief guest in the valediction. Lal reiterated that the course on drone-threats has been organised for the first time in the Academy keeping in view of the emerging challenges in the field of UAVs. Underlining the significance of UAVs for law enforcement agencies and threats associated with the same, Lal asked the participating officers to remain in touch with the UAV technology through electronic/print media so that in future they may handle the drone threats in a better way. Lal also laid emphasis on the enhancement of the skill in cyber forensics which is one of the major challenges to law enforcement agencies. He expressed that the knowledge gained during the training programme will help the prosecutors to a great extent in their respective field. Special guest faculty from renowned national and international institutes shared their experiences through offline and online mode to enrich the knowledge of the participants. The certificates of participation were also given by the Deputy Director SKPA Udhampur and his team.
