OGW in contact with Pakistan terrorist handler arrested in Kashmir | | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Apr 7: The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday claimed to have arrested an Over Ground Worker (OGW) found in contact with a Pakistani 'terrorist handler' from Gudmacher area of Lolab in frontier Kashmir's district of Kupwara. Police said in a statement here that a joint team of Police, 28 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and 162 Bn Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) apprehended one OGW from Gudmacher area of Lolab, who was found to be in contact with a Pakistan-based 'terrorist handler,' who had motivated him to join terror ranks. The OGW has been identified as Owais Ahmad Khan, resident of Khancheck Tekipora Lolab. Some incriminating material was also seized from the arrested person. Further investigation in the case has been taken up and more arrests cannot be ruled out, the statement added. "Timely action by joint forces has prevented his recruitment into terror ranks. Parents are urged to keep a close watch on their children," police said. |
