Visually impaired advocate holds sit-in | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 8: A visually impaired advocate today staged a protest against the Jammu & Kashmir in connection with the privileges and benefits entitled to the persons with disabilities living in the union territory. The advocate said that Supreme Court issued directions to state governments in the county to clear the backlog of jobs for the persons with disabilities. He said that there is a provision of five percent reservation with the Chief Justice of Jammu & Kashmir High Court to provide accommodation to the persons with disabilities since the properties are owned by the Department of Estates. |
