JAMMU, May 9: In a petition filed by inhabitants of Majeen Rangoora Sidhra, Justice Rajneesh Oswal in landmark order directed no unauthorized construction shall be raised on the land acquired by the Jammu Development Authority (JDA).
Justice Oswal also directed VC JDA & Deputy Commissioner Jammu to file detailed status report with regard to the alleged encroachments on spot. The petitioners had sought directions to respondents to evict the encroachers from the state land situated at Majeen, Rangoora, Sidhra tehsil and district Jammu which was acquired for development of a satellite township at Sidhra by JDA details of land Khasra Nos. 11. 12. 14. 115. 117, lJ9. 15. etc., situated at Majeen, Rangoora & Sidhra, Tehsil and District Jammu and also commanding the Respondents to develop the lands in accordance with the purpose for which it was acquired and finalize 'Development of Satellite Township, Sidhra", Jammu.
