| Motorcyclist dies after hit by object, 2 accused held in Kashmir's Badgam dist | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, May 9: A youth riding on a motorcycle died after he was allegedly hit on his head by two persons with an object in Central Kashmir's Badgam district on Monday.
Meanwhile, Police have arrested the accused persons who hit the motorcyclist with an object.
Sources said the youth, identified as Fayaz Ahmad Najar a resident of Gurweith Khansahib, was riding his motorcycle when he was hit by an object on the head leaving him critically injured.
He was shifted to Sub district hospital Khansahib where doctors referred him to Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences Srinagar for special treatment.
However, the victim succumbed to his injuries.
Budgam Police have arrested two persons Tahir Bashir Khan and Hilal Ahmed Lone residents of Kachwari Khansaib in connection with the death of Fayaz Ahmad Najar.
A police statement said the incident occurred at Kachwari. Accordingly, he was taken to SKIMS in a critical condition where he died.
A case was registered at Police Station Khansahib under section and investigation set into motion. |
