Govt will accept verdict on JKLF chief | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, May 11: Union Minister of State B L Verma on Wednesday said the government will accept the court verdict on Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chief Mohammad Yaseen Malik who has pleaded guilty to all charges including under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA). Verma said this to the media at Baramulla a day after the JKLF chief pleaded guilty to all the charges against him at a Delhi court. “The BJP will accept whatever the court decides regarding Malik," he said. The court will hear on May 19 the arguments on the quantum of the sentence. Verma said the Central government had always worked for the betterment of Kashmiri Pandits. |
