| Vice chairperson DDC meets several delegations | | Calls for ensuring greatest good of greatest number | |  Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, May 17: While interacting with diverse rainbow of deputations hailing from different sections of society, Juhi Pathania DDC Vice chairperson Udhampur today called upon Officers/Administration to work with full zeal and enthusiasm and ensure that the greatest good of greatest number is achieved.
The issues projected by various PRIs and prominent citizens/villagers included immediate repairing of hand pumps to meet scarcity of water. The Vice-Chairperson called for maintaining close liaison between civil and mechanical wing of PHE so that proper supply of water is made available to the people in these days of scorching heat.
Another deputation led by Sewa Singh Mankotia Retd. SSP called for construction of bridge over Mansar nallah. A deputation led by local political leader of block Jaganoo Rakesh Chander Sharma called for renovation of Jaganoo Pond, while another deputation led by social activist Madhu Bala sought JKSRTC buse service from Udhampur to Basantgarh. The delegation members also thanked Pathania for the sterling efforts put in by her for blacktopping and widening work on Dudu to Keya road and hoped for early renovation of Ramnagar to Basantgarh road too.
A deputation of panchayat Sullan led by sarpanch Krishan Lal along with Jattu Ram, DDC Ramnagar -II met with Pathania regarding the construction of T-road. DDC Ramnagar -I Mool Raj and DDC Ghordi Rakesh Chander also projected several issues of public importance which were immediately brought into the notice of concerned officers and agencies for immediate follow up and redressal. |
