Early Times Report JAMMU, May 17: An eight member delegation of JKNHM Employees Association affiliated to Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh represented J&K NHM at two days All India Conference of NHM Employees held at Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Besides J&KNHM was also attended by hundreds of National Health Mission representatives drawn from Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, West Bengal, UT Chandigarh, Assam, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Nagaland, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Odisha, Kerala and Manipur besides representatives of health department employees organizations from various states. The demands of NHM employees and the problems experienced by them in different states were highlighted by their state representatives. A consensus regarding collective fight for redressal of the grievances of NHM Employees and for fulfilment of their long pending demands and issues was arrived at the conference to form and constitute an All India level Organization of Health NHM Employees. Ramesh Kumar of Haryana was elected- President of the Federation, Vishawaradhya of Karnataka, was elected General Secretary and Rohit Seth of Jammu and Kashmir was elected as Vice President of All India Health and NHM Employees Federation. The two days conference was a big success and the constitution of All India level body of Health and NHM Employees was a big feat accomplished. |
