| Police booked driver, seized vehicle for putting lives of people to risk | | |

Kishtwar, May 26: Taking strong note of overloading of vehicles, particularly making the passengers to sit on the roof top of the vehicle along with hanging around the vehicle, Chatroo police of Kishtwar District registered 2nd such FIR in last few days and arrested the driver of the vehicle beside also seize the vehicle.
As per the details available with Early Times, a picture of a vehicle with overload passengers on its top was circulating in social media; acting promptly SHO PS Chatroo Sameer Ahmed Butt identified the vehicle as Trex bearing registration No JK17/4416 and driver of the said vehicle as Sanjay Kumar Son of Mangat Ram resident of Chingam Chatroo.
In this regard case FIR No 46/22 US 279/336 IPC has been registered against the said driver. The said vehicle has been seized and the driver has been arrested, confirm a senior police officer. |
