Jammu, May 30: On the occasion of Shani Jayanti and Somvar Amasya, the local residents of Janipur Colony in collaboration with Janipur Market Association organized Bhandara at Mainstop Janipur near Shiv Mandir. Hundreds of devotees paid obeisance and took Prasad at Bhandara. Former Minister and Ex MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) also took part in the Bhandara and distributed Prasad amongst devotees along with Corporator Ward 37 Sunita Gupta and several others including Mandal President Raveesh Mengi and District General Secretary Ajay Manhas. Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that the management has been organizing Bhandara and Jagran since the last ten years and this year’s event is the tenth in the series. He said that people around Jammu organize such events which involve the public religiously and he appealed to others as well to organize such events everywhere so that the younger generations must also know about religious days and occasions as per our Hindu Mythology. The atmosphere in the Mandir premises was charged with devotion and the devotees offered special prayers on the occasion. Vicky Sharma, Sahil Gupta, Sahil Anand, Kulbir Singh, Avinash Anand, Bittu Sharma, Gourav, Vicky Maini, Praveen and several others were also present on the occasion. |
