New Delhi, May 30: Bangladesh has a very close relation with India and the experience gained during the 10-day programme Gen Next Democracy Network will be used for country’s development, said Osama Bin Noor, one of the 27 delegates from six countries. This was the second batch in this sequence. The Indian Council for Cultural Relations had conducted a 10-day “Gen Next Democracy Network” programme as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in which they invited 27 delegates from six countries, namely Bangladesh, Nepal,Brunei, Norway, Peru and Ghana. During the trip the delegates visited several parts of the country such as Delhi, Mumbai and Pune. The delegates had also visited IIT Delhi. Navreet Kaur, one of the Norway delegates and an India origin, lauded ICCR for giving the team a dose of both cultural and technological experience. At the closing ceremony held on Sunday, Member of Parliament of Ghana Samuel Nartey George praised India, its culture, language and people. ICCR Director General Kumar Tuhin said that delegations from 75 countries will be invited under ICCR GenNext Democracy Program.
