Rich tributes paid to Ghulam Mohi-Ud Din Shah on his 18th death anniversary

JAMMU, June 11: Rich tributes were paid to Jenab Kh. Ghulam Mohi -ud-Din Shah on his 18th Death Anniversary today at Sher -I- Kashmir Bhavan, Jammu.
While addressing the gathering Provincial President Rattan Lal Gupta said that late Kh. Mohi-Ud- Din Shah would be remembered for a long time to come for their historical role which he played during his lifetime by serving the state in various capacities .He said he was close associate of late Sher -I- Kashmir Sheikh Mohd. Abdullah and remained with him for a long time in Jail also. He was part of National Conference movement launched under the leadership of late Sheikh Mohd Abdullah in J&K State in the early forties. True tributes would be to follow his path and complete the work which he could not complete during his life time.
Gupta appealed to the gathering to work to maintain communal harmony in J&K which is very much important in the present charged situation.
Ajay Kumar Sadhotra Central Secretary, Sheikh Bashir Ahmed Provincial Secretary, Vijay Lochan P.P SC Cell, Abdul Gani Teli P.P OBC Cell also paid tributes to late Kh. Mohi-Ud-Din Shah who shaped in his lifetime the destiny of the National Conference as a strong mass movement that strived for dignity and honour of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, irrespective of caste, creed or religion.
