SRINAGAR, June 11: A soldier was killed when lightning struck at a post along the Line of Control in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir last night, officials said today. The lightning struck at a post of the Indian Army in the Gulmarg sector in which the soldier, Lokendra Singh of 18 Rashtriya Rifles was killed. “His body was later shifted to a hospital for legal formalities,” they said. Army is yet to issue any statement on the incident. |
