Transfer policy should be applicable for reserve category employees posted in Kashmir: Sahni | Shiv Sena vows to fight for fulfilling demands of victims of terrorism | | Early Times Report JAMMU, June 11: Shiv Sena took a dig at the government's ignorant attitude regarding the prevailing situation in Kashmir Valley. Shiv Sena slammed the present government for not showing any serious concern towards the issues being faced by reserved category employees posted in Kashmir Valley, saying where are those who fill the false slogan of Hindutva? In this context, Shiv Sena Jammu and Kashmir unit led by its President Manish Sahni joined the protest of reserved category employees who were sitting on a Dharna at Dr Ambedkar Chowk Jammu. Talking to reporters, Sahni said there is an atmosphere of fear among the employees regarding the current situation in Kashmir amidst targeted killings. There is a demand of these employees that they should be transferred to their native districts in Jammu till the atmosphere of security and peace is restored in the Valley. Besides, a transfer policy should be made for such employees, he demanded. Sahni appealed to the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha to fulfill the demands put forth by the Kashmiri Hindus posted in Kashmir, including the family members of Rajni Bala, Rahul Bhatt, who were martyred in the terrorist attack. Sahni said that the government should immediately transfer the husband of martyr Rajni Bala and brother of Rahul Bhatt to Jammu. He demanded that the education related expenses of Rajni Bala's daughter's should be borne by the government, along with the salary of her martyred mother should be deposited in the child's account every month and a lump sum compensation of Rs 1 crores should be given as immediate relief. Sahni said that the wife of Martyr Rahul Bhatt should be posted in the nearest school so that she can take care of her child without the father. At the same time, Rahul Bhatt's brother should also be immediately transferred to Jammu. Sahni said that the transfer policy should be implemented for these employees along with providing a safe environment to the reserved category and Kashmiri Hindus posted in Kashmir. Sahni said that the government should immediately fulfill the demands of the above two victims' families and minorities posted in the Kashmir Valley by adopting a humanitarian approach. If the government shows incompetence and evasive attitude towards the above demands, then Shiv Sena will be forced to take to the streets, he added.
