Free Medical Camp Organized by Kawa College, Jammu

JAMMU, June 11: Kawa College of Education, Jammu along with nursing professionals organized a medical camp for students, staff members of own and adjoining colleges and general public to update them of their current health status and implement necessary lifestyle changes in accordance to prevailing post pandemic conditions for living healthier lives. The health checkup was conducted at college campus at patolli gurha brahmana between 10:00 am to 2:00 pm under the guidance of Sh. M.S Katoch (Chairman, Kawa College of Education), Mr Abhimanyu Katoch (MD Kawa Group) encouraged people to be proactive about their health and make preventive tests a habit.
Dr Bharti (Principal, Kawa college of Education), Seema (Coordinator Kawa group), Ariti, Lovely, Suman, Bharti and Sunali helped in organizing the free medical camp in which routine / general checkup like BP, height and weight measurement, heart rate etc were conducted which was meant to ensure the betterment of public health. Further Dr Bharti, Principal emphasized upon the need of personal hygiene and regular check ups which will not only help an individual to lead a better life but will yield in a better society. MS Katoch, Chairman appreciated the efforts of the students and staff for providing such noble service to the society at large, he further added that preventive measures and regular diagnosis is the only solution for eradicating any disease at the early stage.
Finally, the medical camp was appreciated endorsed by public in large numbers across all age groups. Dr Bharti along with college staff extended their heartiest gratitude to all the people who organized and participated in this camp.
