| Civil Defence Jammu organizes one day awareness programme | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 13: One day awareness programme was held at Nagrota NCC camp, Jammu, which was organized by Civil Defence, Jammu under the kind guidance of Commandant General HG/CD &SDRF, J&K Jammu and close supervision of Dy.SP, Anita Pawar, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu. Awareness about the basic knowledge of First Aid, CPR, Chocking, Fire fighting, and other Emergency rescue methods were given by the Civil Defence expert. During the programme demonstration on the above said topics were also presented by the Civil Defence team. The main aim of the awareness programme was to make aware the students and staff members with regard to preventive measures during natural or Manmade Disaster.
Major Priti Incharge Commanding officer 2nd NCC Girls Bn , Jammu and Camp Commander Lt. Col. Bhandari appreciated the role of Civil Defence organization and thanked Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu and her team for organizing such important awareness-cum-demonstration programme. At least 200 (Girls) students Ist & 2nd year and other staff have attended the awareness programme.
Besides R. Vijay Magotra Dy. Chief Warden CD Jammu was present on the occasion.
