People of J&K frustrated under present regime; NC only ray of hope: Ajay Sadhotra

JAMMU, June 13: A public meeting was organized by the Coordination Committee Jammu District (Urban), Central Zone JKNC at Janipur in district Jammu which was presided over by Zonal President Central Zone and Former Minister Babu Ram Paul, whereas, Central Secretary and former Minister Ajay Kumar Sadhotra was the chief guest. The meeting was organized by Ashok Taygi, Jt. Secretary Central Zone and Member Coordination Committee Jammu District (Urban) at Janipur which was attended by hundreds of people.
While speaking on the occasion Ajay Kumar Sadhotra said that the National Conference is committed to fighting for the rights of Jammu and Kashmir. He said that few forces are working to divide people on the communal and regional lines which will be given a befitting reply. "The country is presently going through a state of crisis. The graph of inflation is constantly on rise, the prices of essential commodities are sky rocketing and still BJP is claiming good governance" he added.
He said that unemployment is at an all time high in the present scenario which is the root cause of depression and resentment among the young generation following which they are getting deviated and becoming drug addict.
He said NC had always worked to provide more and more employment opportunities to the youth of Jammu and Kashmir. He further said that if voted to power, NC would ensure jobs and land security for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
While addressing the mammoth crowd, Babu Ram Paul said that we stand committed for secularism and social equality. He said the National Conference has a legacy of serving the poor and weaker sections of the society which was started by Sher-e-Kashmir Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah. He appealed to the people of J&K urging them to work for Peace, Unity, Integrity, Communal harmony & brotherhood.
He also urged the government at the centre, Jammu and Kashmir administration to take stern action against communal and divisive forces creating hatred on the society and appealed to the people to see through the designs of such forces and maintain religious harmony and peace at all costs.
Babu Rampaul critised the stoppage of 'Darbar Move' practice as immoral by the govt because it has adversely affected the business community.
Babu Rampaul while making comparative study of the regime of JKNC especially Sher-E-Kashmir Jb. Sheikh Mohd. Abdullah, Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Jb. Omar Abdullah in which slew of measures were taken for the welfare of the people of J&K.
Reiterating his resolve for giving good governance to the people of J&K, he asked the party workers of J&K to remain united and work with zeal, zest and dedication for ensuing the welfare of the common masses of J&K and to strengthen the JKNC party at the grass root levels.
