Early Times Report JAMMU, June 20: Bimla Luthra State Vice President Women Wing J&K National Conference addressed women workers meeting at Draptha in R.S Pura. Luthra said Jammu has suffered due to the BJP non-performance and non-seriousness in addressing the core issues with regard to development, employment and implementation of various public welfare schemes. Instead of addressing these issues the BJP has been indulging in rhetoric, which does not augur well for the democratic polity. She advised the BJP leadership to come of age and go for extensive introspection over the failures in Jammu and Kashmir, where it failed miserably in feeling the pulse of the people and assuaging their economic, developmental and political aspirations. Due to non- availability of basic amenities including water, power, roads, lanes and drains etc, the residents of R.S Pura are going through tough times.The unscheduled power cuts and erratic water supply also came to the fore while interacting with my sisters here, she added. Luthra urged the cadre to reach out to the people and help them seek redressal to their problems, which have multipled due to anti poor- policies of the government Those who were present in the meeting: Pinky Khalsa District President, Tilky, Joyti, Sabita, Bharti, Rani and others. |
