National flag at Islamia school for the first time in 117 years

Kishtwar, June 20: In change of winds, for the first time in 117 years history, National Flag a top on Islamia Farediya School in Kishtwar- established by Anjuman Islamia Kishtwar in the year 1905 with an aim teach the masses of Kishtwar.
As per the details available with Early Times, the national flag replaces the Islamic flag a top of the school building on the eve of two days annual day function of the school which is congruent to the Urs of 17th century Sufi Saint Hazrat Shah Mohammad Fareed Ud Din Baghdadi (RTA).
Today’s function was attended by Chairperson Waqaf Board J&K Dr. Daraksha Indrabi, DDC Chairperson Kishtwar Pooja Thakur, Imam Jamia Masjid Kishtwar Farooq Ahmed Kichloo, leaders of banned Jamat e Islami, DDC members, Ex Administrator Auqaf Islamia Kishtwar and other.
The school annual day function will continue tomorrow and the function is to be graced by various religious scholars from different thoughts of the school along with some social and political activists.
