Early Times Report JAMMU, June 20: The Art of Living is gearing to mark the 8th edition of the International Day of Yoga on June 21st in a grand fashion, with a line up of India-wide celebrations. The central theme at the heart of this year's festivity is #PromiseToYoga, an initiative to promote more conscious and healthy lifestyles. In partnership with the Union Ministries and the State Ayush ministry as a part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav large scale events are being hosted at 8 iconic venues including - New Delhi, Nehru Park South Delhi hosted in partnership with NDMC; Himachal Pradesh, Kangra Fort - hosted in partnership with Ministry of Education; Himachal Pradesh, Parashar Lake (Mandi) - hosted in partnership with MoS (Finance); Himachal Pradesh, Atal Tunnel, - hosted in partnership with MoS (Sports & Home Affairs); Bihar, Maha Bodhi temple, Bodh Gaya - hosted in partnership with Ministry of Steel; Bihar, Patliputra Stadium, Patna - hosted in partnership with State Ministry of Ayush; Assam, Dibrugarh - hosted in partnership with State Govt of Assam (Ministry of Ayush); Telangana, Hyderabad, Parade Grounds - hosted in partnership with Ministry of Ayush and Ministry of Tourism. Many independent events are being held by the organisation at prominent landmarks of the various cities across the country. Some of these include the Meenakshi Madurai temple, Puri Sea beach, Chandigarh University, Kingdom of Dreams - Gurgaon, Sea beach at Vishakhapatnam. and Agra jail. As a prelude to the International Day of Yoga (IDY), the Jammu and Kashmir will warm up to demonstrate, the highlight of the Art of Living's massive IDY 2022 celebrations this year would be inmates from 30 prisons including District Jails in Jammu, Kathua, Udhampur and Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir along with other jails of the country joining in. The organization has already touched the lives of 6,50,000 inmates in 45 countries with yoga-based stress management and rehabilitation programs. It give us immense pleasure to inform that Art of Living Jammu chapter is holding international day of Yoga 2022 at over 10 locations in J&K, with more than 11000 participants which includes NCC, Army, Air Force, CRPF, RBI, Sainik and other schools, public functions, functions by ogvt organisations, civil society at various locations throughout the state "The International Day of Yoga is a big moment for us.
