JAMMU, June 20: Dogri Sanstha Jammu, a literary organization engaged in promoting and publicizing mother tongue Dogri organized a Mahila Kavi Goshthi online in which 8 poetesses participated with their beautiful and thought provoking poetry.
The poetesses who participated in Goshthi include Kalpana Khajuria, Manju Bala, Sapna Narania, Neelu Thappa, Shama Rani, Poonam Kumari, Shikha Manotra and Ganga Sharma.
The Goshthi was presided over by Prof. Lalit Magotra, President Dogri Sanstha Jammu, who said that such the Goshthis are very significant as more and more poetesses have come ahead with their creative inputs which is a positive sign. Moreover the way they have expressed their innermost through creative instinct proves that there is no dearth of talent in females. They need just exposure for which Dogri Sanstha is fully committed to provide platforms.
The program was conducted and technical support for smooth conduct of program was given by eminent theatre activist and writer Pawan Verma and vote of thanks was presented by actor Rajeshwar Singh Raju', prolific English, Hindi and Dogri writer, who is General secretary Dogri Sanstha Jammu as well. He said that Sanstha will go on organizing such programs Online as well as Offline in future thus coming up to the aspirations of writers penning down their writings in mother tongue Dogri.
The program was watched by thousands throughout India and abroad through Facebook page of Dogri Sanstha Jammu.
