JAMMU, June 20: Department of Political Science, Govt. Degree College Surankote organised an online Essay writing Competition on Yoga: The Key to Wellness as a part of a series of events in connection with the celebration of International Yoga Day 2022. Dr. Naseer Ahmed Kalis, HoD Political Science and Prof. Fatima Bi, Assistant Prof. of Political Science were the Organisers of the event. The objective of the essay writing competition was to explore the writing skills of the students as well as the depth of knowledge of students about yoga. More than 35 students participated in the competition Sehrish Malik of GDC Surankote, Zahid Awan of Degree College Surankote and Asia Kosser of GDC Surankote got first, second and third position respectively. Principal of the College Dr. Jasbir Singh appreciated the organisers and insisted on bringing yoga in daily life to remain healthy, wealthy and wise. |
