| One day workshop on “Blood Donation” awareness held in DPL Jammu | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, June 23: One day workshop on “Blood Donation” was held in Police Hospital Jammu at Conference Hall of District Police Lines Jammu in which all Consultant Doctors, Medical officers, other staff of Police Hospital Jammu and Officers / officials of District Police Lines Jammu attended.
Dr. Urvashi Consultant Department of Blood Transfusion of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Vijaypur-Samba participated the said workshop as Blood Donation awareness Guest Speaker. Dr. Urvashi gave a power point presentation to the participants and briefed them about how donation of blood can save not only precious human life but also improves better circulation of blood of donor.
The said workshop was held under the overall supervision of Medical Superintendent Police Hospital Jammu Dr. Meenakshi Kotwal. The visiting Doctor was warmly received by SP Headquarters Jammu Shri Ramnish Gupta, Administrator Police Hospital Jammu who along-with other officers/ officials had made excellent arrangements for the said event.
The experience and the management shared by the Doctor of AIIMS Vijaypur-Samba will prove beneficial as participants will share their experience gained in the workshop with their fellow colleagues and family members |
