| Tractors, JCBs eroding embankments | | |

Poonch, June 23: Residents of Poonch town are worried as the embankments of Irrigation and Flood Control Department near Police Station are being eroded by tractors and JCBs.
Residents while talking to Early Times said, “We have taken up this matter with the administration on many occasions as we fear that unbridled movement of the tractors and JCBs can lead to erosion of these embankments and this can lead to flash floods.”
They appealed to the administration to look into the matter and impose a ban on the movement of tractors and JCBs through the area. |
