Demand for CBI Inquiry into alleged JKPSI exams intensified | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, July 7: Demand for the CBI Enquiry into the alleged JKPSI exam intensified as hundreds of aspirants gathered today at Press Club Jammu to protest for the same. As reports of various newspapers and electronic claim that Enquiry Committee ordered by LG Manoj Sinha has submitted its report recommending scrapping of exam and in depth enquiry, the aspirants demanded that immediate FIR should be lodged in this matter and all the culprits including aspirants involved should be booked under relevant sections and put them behind bars. Aspirants while addressing the media said that from the first year we are saying that this scam is believed to be done by an interstate racket hence needs to be handed over to CBI so that all those involved in this multi-crore scam should be booked. They said that the delay in handing over the matter to CBI is raising questions on the desire of LG administration. Many of the aspirants claimed that sufficient leads and substantive evidence has been given to the various agencies and many of them directly relate with the Finance Accounts Assistant Exam. They said we raised our voice then also but then Chairman JKSSB threatened us to lodge a case on us for defaming JKSSB. They said the Finance Accounts Assistant Exam should also be investigated in depth as there are many leads that there is a scam in it also. Aspirants further said that as the days are passing the people involved in the scams are given due time to manage things. They further appeal the other aspirants on protest to join them to demand capital punishment for all scammers. They said it is not possible to segregate all aspirants involved in the scam as its intensity seems to be high and it is not a CBT exam like UP where segregation is easy. They demanded that immediately FIR should be lodged and capital punishment should be given setting an example for all. They said that all aspirants should unite to call for a CBI enquiry. They said some people are trying to divide the aspirants. |
