Will Azad put files of his former ministers in the public domain? | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 12: Former Chief Minister and founder of the Democratic Azad Party (DAP) Ghulam Nabi Azad in every public meeting is highlighting the achievements of his government. Azad, who has accelerated developmental activities during his tenure as Chief Minister of the erstwhile state of J&K, trying to remind the public about the double-shift concept introduced by him to complete the languishing developmental projects in different parts of J&K. It was only during the tenure of Ghulam Nabi Azad that many languishing developmental projects were completed and many new projects were started. Highly placed sources said apart from accelerating developmental activities in the erstwhile state of J&K, Azad had also collected some evidence of corruption by his ministers who were part of the then Congress-PDP coalition regime headed by him. Sources said that with the help of the intelligence agencies, Azad had successfully collected some documents which are authentic evidence of the corrupt practices of his colleagues in the then coalition regime. “As Chief Minister of the erstwhile state of J&K Ghulam Nabi Azad has prepared files of most of the ministers at that time. These files contain some documents to substantiate their corrupt practices”, sources said and added that ministers during the Azad government were themselves aware of these files because many of them were brazenly indulged in corrupt practices and the “transfer industry” was flourishing at that time. “Now the biggest question is when Azad will put those files in the public domain to expose those ministers”, sources asked. |
