Dismayed over Mehbooba’s statement to adjust KPs in Jammu
11/14/2022 12:41:55 AM

Early Times Report

Jammu, Nov 13: Chairman, West Pakistani Hindu Refugee Front (WPHRF), Sub Major (Retd) Madan Lal Dubgotra, expressed great dismay over Mehbooba Mufti’s statement that the “Kashmiri Pandits who are camping in Jammu for several months and demanding that they be relocated to Jammu till situation improves in Kashmir but Govt is stopping their salaries and ration”. Mehbooba Mufti who had been two times Chief Minister of J&K had never spoken even a single word for the West Pakistani Refugees (WPRs), who were living in Jammu Region under deteriorated condition and without residentship of J&K since their migration from Pakistan on partition of India during 1947, who were deprived of their basic right of living since denied residentship of J&K besides required education, employment, right to immovable property and the voting rights and were considered as Non Residents of J&K. WPRs had been living in a worst condition even than the second class citizens, since not considered as citizens (Residents) of J&K. Mehbooba Mufti did never listened the voice of WPRs who were repeatedly demanding for residentship inspite of several Memorandums submitted directly or through PM’s and Home Minister’s Office to J&K Govt as well as the Chief Minister. It only become possible when Centre Govt abrogate the Article 370 and the WPRs got the domicile status of J&K after 72 years of their migration to J&K. Mehbooba Muft’si such statements may instigate the terrorists and the Jihadis groups sitting in Pakistan for more selective killings of Non locals and the KPs employed in public sector in the valley.
Further stated that during 1990, when Mehbooba’s father Mufti Mohammad Sayeed was Home Minister of India and Farooq was the Chief Minister of J&K around 5 lakhs Kashmiri Pandits were extradited from the valley after mass massacre of thousands of KPs including women and children apart from the heinous crime of rape of several KP women by the Jihadies and terrorists in a bid to render Kashmir as Hindu less. Why she never spoke of atrocities exodus of KPs from Kashmir. Instead of KPs return to the valley she want another exodus of employees from the valley under a well knitted conspiracy on the behest of terrorists and Jihadi groups. If the KPs and other non locals in Govt jobs in the valley who have faced the target killing are absorbed in Jammu, terrorist and the in the valley will be encouraged and Kashmir will see another expulsion of KPs and other non Muslim locals and a wrong signal will go the international community that the condition of Kashmir has worsen after abrogation of Article 370 and the terrorism will spreading its roots towards Jammu also. Therefore, it is appealed to the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor that the security forces may be issued suitable directive to created conducive atmosphere for the safety and security of the non local employees in the Valley instead of absorbing them in Jammu. Further Chairman WPHRF appeals to the Honble Prime Minister and the Home Minister that 4-5 Assembly seats in the Kashmir may be reserved for the KPs till they return the valley, it may force the Terrorist and Jihidi groups as well as the political parties to create conducive atmosphere for the return of the KPs otherwith, target and selective Killngs will continue in the valley.
