No one is scared of militants, stop propaganda: Raman Suri
12/29/2022 10:12:15 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 29: Condemning the statement of former Chief Minister and People's Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti wherein she said that Government has failed to control militancy in Kashmir and it has now spread to the Jammu region, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K Executive Member Raman Suri today said that militancy is on its last leg and not only in Kashmir but wherever anti-national elements are surfacing, they are being shot dead by out valiant soldiers.
Raman Suri said, it is unfortunate that instead of condemning the militants' attack, criticising Pakistan for aiding and abetting it or asking youth not to join militancy, Mehbooba chose to condemn the government and scare people by saying that militancy is now spreading to Jammu region. Jammu, Raman Suri said, has seen many such attacks but each and every time militants have faced the wrath of soldiers. This is not going to scare anyone as our forces including the police department are well-prepared and equipped to deal with such cowards.
Instead of becoming the spokesperson of militants by telling the world where they are spreading their tentacles or where are they on the run, Mehbooba Mufti must concentrate on saving her party, which itself has become deserters' first choice. He added that the Sidhra encounter is a reminder to the left-over militants that they are on the hunt and will be eliminated wherever they are.
Referring to her other statement about "suspended democracy", the BJP leader said that it is democracy itself that gives people the freedom of speech and expression, due to which people like Mufti speak whatever comes to their minds without any thought of repercussions. It is because of democracy only that she could spill hate against soldiers wherein she maintained a criminal silence over the Sidhra encounter by not appreciating police personal for eliminating militants in no time.
