JAMMU, Dec 29: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has started the online portal for fresh admissions for the January 2023 session for the academic year 2023. IGNOU Offers UG, PG, Diploma, and Certificate programmes. The desirous candidates can fill the application form through online mode. The minimum eligibility criteria for UG courses are that students must pass 10+2 from a recognized university, and for PG courses, candidates must be a graduate from a recognized university.
The last date to apply for admission through the online portal is January 31, 2023. Seeking applicants can access the IGNOU admission portal 2023 at www.ignou.ac.in or directly following the link https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. Candidates aspiring for IGNOU admission 2023 will be able to complete their admission process on this portal before the deadline.
IGNOU offers admission to various UG, PG, Certificate, Diploma, PG Diploma and Doctoral level programmes in distance learning and online education mode. IGNOU offers multiple courses such as BSW, MBA, MCA, BCA, MA English and Masters in Rural Development in online mode. As per the new UGC guidelines, candidates can now study two online or offline programmes at the same time.
Before filling the admission form online, a candidate needs to create a User ID and Password on the SAMARTH portal and be ready with a Mobile No., Email ID, properly scanned academic documents, photograph and Bank Debit /Credit/Net Banking for payment of fee. "In case any student forgets his/her User ID/password or changes the registered mobile number at later stages, he/she must approach the Regional Centre or drop a mail on [email protected] with the request to reset the password", said Dr. Sandeep Gupta, Regional Director In charge. |
