JAMMU, Dec 29: The Jammu and Kashmir Degree College Principals express deep gratitude to Honorable Lt. Governor of J&K, Manoj Sinha and his administration for taking historical initiatives in Higher Education Department. From the last three years, new initiatives have been introduced in the Higher Education Department, ushering a new dawn of academic excellence, accountability and transparency. Historical initiatives like development of infrastructure, digitization of classrooms, skill development program, faculty development, research eco system and focus on sports infrastructure and activities have been the hallmark steps taken by LG administration in Higher Education Department. Under his dynamic leadership, NEP 2020 has been implemented smoothly across the Higher Education Institutions of J&K.
In Academic year 2022, Higher Education Department launched several initiatives such as three Tier Feedback System, E-Samarth, ABBAS, SPARROW Portal, EPM, transfer portal, etc, ushering a new dawn of accountability, academic excellence and good governance. Long pending demand of confirmation of Principals has been fulfilled by confirmation of 105 In-Charge Principals as confirmed through transparent, smooth and time bound process, ending the Ad hocism in the system. In this regard the College Principals acknowledge and thank the role of Chairman Public Service Commission, Principal Secretary to Government, Higher Education and his team, for fulfilling the long pending demands of College Fratern. |
