'Bharat Jodo Yatra' not for any political gain: Mula Ram, Hari Singh
1/5/2023 10:08:25 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 5: The Congress's ongoing 'Bharat Jodo Yatra'-led by MP Rahul Gandhi was not for any political gain. It is to raise voice against issues like inflation and unemployment, and against Chinese incursions. This was stated by Mula Ram, senior Congress leader and former minister while speaking at the awareness campaign in connection with Bharat Jodo Yatra which is entering Jammu and Kashmir State on January 22, 2023. The awareness campaign was organized by former Minister Mula Ram, Block Congress Committees Marh and Mandal Phlain and DCC Jammu Rural under the leadership of Hari Singh Chib, DCC President Rural and Rajinder Kumar at Gho Manhasan in Jammu.
Mula Ram said that the main aim of the Yatra is to "unite India', strengthen the nation, and raise issues affecting the people like price rise, unemployment, inflation and divisive politics. "The Yatra has received a massive success by the Congress which is entering in Jammu and Kashmir on January 22," he added.
The former minister said that the Congress Party has always taken a strong stance against the BJP's divide and rule policy and this is a very good effort in that direction. He further added that the yatra is also very important and close to people's hearts, because it is bringing up a lot of issues and challenges such as unemployment, misuse of constitutional institutions, division in society, spread of hatred, farmers' issues, and economic condition.
Hari Chib Singh, in his address, said that the preparations for Rahul Gandhi Ji's Bharat Jodo Yatra are going on in full swing. "Rahul Gandhi has taken a great initiative to unite the country against a fascist government and people in Jammu Kashmir are also enthusiastic to participate," he added.
Chib asserted that as the Yatra will enter J&K, it will also take up issues of the people of Jammu and Kashmir and that is very important, as J&K continues to be ignored by the Centre, this is the reason people are eagerly waiting for the Yatra to arrive, he added.
Chib appealed to the people to participate in the Bharat Jodo Yatra which has developed a hope amongst the country men while having the potential to bring the Nation out of the morass and vitiated atmosphere created by BJPs hate politics.
