Jammu, Jan 5: A veteran Congress leader from Kashmir Valley, who owes his allegiance to Ghulam Nabi Azad is also among those who reached New Delhi to rejoin the Congress party. This veteran, who had earlier served as Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) chief, has yet not resigned from the DAP but he is already in the Union Captial to rejoin the Congress party. Along with other loyalists of Ghulam Nabi Azad, this leader has also left Congress and joined DAP. “The former PCC chief was in touch with J&K Congress chief Vikar Rasool Wani who convinced him to rejoin the Congress party by leaving DAP”, sources said. |
