JAMMU, Jan 27: SD Tara Puri public High School Gandhi Nagar Republic Day celebrations took with patriotic fervour and zest in school as the children in all grades learnt about India's political history, freedom struggle and the constitution. Children felt inspired and participated actively in the Republic Day ceremony and celebrations. The National Flag is hosted by the chief guest Bhanu Mahajan Corporator ward no-21 Gandhi Nagar. President B.M Sharma and other dignitaries of the management committee, the principal, vice-principal, teachers and students recited the National Anthem. The chief guest, The Principal and Secretary sir N.D Sharma usually addressed the students and narrated them the history of Republic Day. They motivated the students to be enlightened citizens of the country, to participate in the development and improvement of the society around them and contribute to the nation's progress since they are the future of the country. The school premises was decorated. |
