This was stated by former Legislator and senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Vikram Randhawa while unfurling National Flag in the occasion of 74th Republic Day. While addressing the people on the occasion, Randhawa extended hearties greetings to the people on the occasion of Republic Day. He urged upon the people to inculcate the spirit of patriotism and nationalism among the younger generation by narrating them the stories of freedom fighters and martyrs. The places where Randhawa unfurled National Flag includes Upper Chowadhi, Narwal Bala, Lower Chowadhi, Gorkha Nagar, Gandhi Nagar, Channi Himmat, Dashmesh Nagar, Rehri Union Railway Station. Those present on the occasion at different places include Jagdev Singh, Bharat Bushan, Azgar Choudhary, Arshid, Salman, Tarun Sharma, Amit Gupta, Subash Chander, Nasib Singh, Sunny, Balwan Singh, Subash Choudhary, Harbhans Choudhary, Gurdayal Singh, Neena Gupta Councillor, Poonam Gupta, Trishla Gupta. Ashok Khajuria, Rajinder Sharma and others He said technology was not an obstacle for the younger generation to increase their spirit of patriotism. This is because social media can be used as a medium to spread important celebrations such as Republic Day, he added. "The younger generation is now very inclined to surf the internet and they also need to be brought together to be a part of the country's history. To cultivate a spirit of patriotism among young people, we need to use an approach that is in line with their interests", Former Legislator said.
