Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 3: Describing the new Union Budget as employment friendly, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K Executive Member Raman Suri today said that the launch of National Green Hydrogen Mission with an outlay of Rs. 19,700 crores will create the biggest employment opportunities for our youngsters. This move, he added, will reduce the carbon emissions and encourage hydrogen fuel driven vehicles besides creating lakhs of jobs in the industry. Raman Suri said, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has presented a rather common masses-friendly budget. He added that the increased capital investment outlay could play a major role in employment generation, and the identification of about one-hundred critical transport infrastructure projects for ports, steel, fertilisers, coal and food grains sectors will also create more jobs in the country. These employment-friendly initiatives, he added, will come handy for our youth to seek employment in different sectors. The BJP leader said, over 6 lakh jobs will alone be created with the launch of National Green Hydrogen Mission which has been provided with Rs. 19,700 crores. The country, he added, is fast-developing and massive infrastructure development projects are not only connecting the states and the UTs but also creating jobs besides providing fast movement of goods. The Union Government's initiative to construct fifty additional airports, helipads and water aerodromes in the country would also create jobs for local youth. The next phase of Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana, he said, will train lakhs of youth for the next three years wherein new-age courses for industry will be introduced for the learners. Since coding, 3D printing, drone flying and manufacturing, Artificial Intelligence (AI), robotics, mechatronics, Internet of Things (IOT) and, allied skills are taking over the nation, our youth skilled in these spheres will get better employment and also contribute to country's development in a big way, Raman Suri asserted. The Union Government, he said, has also planned to open thirty new Skill India International Centres across different states for the purpose. The Finance Minister, he said, by reducing fiscal deficit, increasing capital spending and reducing taxes has helped common people in a big way. Tax exemption limit for middle class people has been increased from Rs. 5 lakhs to Rs. 7 lakhs, which has already been welcomed by the people and has silenced the voice of opposition leaders who are unable to find any flaws in the budget. Tax benefits for start-ups, higher allocation for IT ministry and extension of the scope of DigiLocker are some of the other things that are going to help people in a big way. This Union Budget, he added, is going to increase digital transactions, simplify KYC norms and make PAN a common identifier which will increase digital systems of many government agencies. He said, such decisions are also going to end corruption and nepotism by making every transaction crystal clear. |
