| APS Akhnoor participated in National Singing Dance Sports Acting Championship | | |  Early Times Report
AKHNOOR, Feb 8: APS Akhnoor participated in National Singing Dance Sports Acting Championship held on 3rd-5th February 2023, at Spiritual Growth Center, Katra (J&K). The competition was organized by Performing Art Association of J&K run by Harman Cultural and Educational society. 300 participants from 21 states participated in the event.
In order to showcase the talent of the children, Army Public School Akhnoor participated in National Singing Dance Sports Acting Championship 2022-2023. The event was a thoughtful programme under the supervision of General Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir unit Mrs. Gurvinder Kour.
The function was a three days event which included Junior Duet & Trio Dance, Super Father & Mother and Senior Dance Sports. 28 students from Army Public School participated.
Students brought laurels to the school with their impeccable performances-
Gold Medal was bagged by Sruti Sharma, Tajinder Singh and Anandi Sharma, 12 other students clinched Silver medals and 08 students clinched bronze medals in the event.
APS Akhnoor Music teacher Baj Singh bagged gold in Instrument Tabla and Harkirat Kour (Dance teacher) was awarded as silver medal in super mom.
Principal APS Akhnoor Geeta Devi appreciated the hard work of the students and encouraged them to keep doing their best to excel in life.
The chief guest, in his address also appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers for making the event successful.
Later, the winners of the competition were felicitated amidst thunderous applause. |
