JAMMU, Feb 25: A review meeting of the Departments of Municipal Committee Kalakote, under My Town My Pride, Phase- 2nd, was held here in the Conference Hall of the Dak Bungalow under the Chairmanship of the Prabhari/Visiting Officer of the Municipal Committee, S. Jatinder Singh, Director General, Floriculture Parks and Gardens, Jammu. The President of the Municipal Committee, Vijay Suri and the Councilors attended the meeting. The Officers of the different Departments including, Revenue, Housing & Urban, Health and Medical Education, ICDS, Social Welfare, Agriculture, Floriculture, Forest, PWD (R&B), Jal Shakti, JPDCL, Education, FCS & CA, Animal Husbandry, Sheep Husbandry, Technical Education, Sericulture and Representative of JK Bank Kalakote were present in the meeting. The Additional Deputy Commissioner Kalakote, Krishan Lal conducted the meeting and apprised about the achievements made by different Departments in reaching out to the general public in redressing their genuine issues. It was apprised that all the Departments have switched over to the online mode of services as per the directions of the government. It was also apprised that most of the Departments have achieved the saturation level on public service delivery. Achievement under Aadhar seeding is also above 95% in all the Departments. No Domicile Certificate/Category Certificate/Mutation is pending with the Revenue Authority of the Municipal Committee as reported by the Concerned Revenue Officer. The BMO Kalakote said that 96% of the Golden Health Cards have been prepared in the Municipal Committee. The President and the Councilors informed that there was shortage of drinking water problem in the town.The Officer of the Jal Shakti Department was directed to sort out the issues immediately. Under National Urban Livelihood Mission, the Bank authority and the EO Municipal Committee Kalakote reported that under Pt. Dean Dayal Upadhaya Awas Yojna, total No. of 16 persons applied for the assistance, out of which 13 cases have been sanctioned, two rejected as already availed and one case rejected as non- performing. The Prabhari/Visiting Officer of the Municipal Committee Kalakote advised the Officers present in the meeting to work with dedication for the benefit & welfare of the public of the area and comply with the directions of the Government in letter and spirit.
