Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 3: Senior AICC Leader Incharge party affairs in Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh UTs today pushed full forcevinto to the ongoing Congress 'Jai Bharat Satyagrah' by leading a protest rally in Udhampur city and Mashal Procession in Jammu city today, in which hundreds of workers and leaders participated. JKPCC President Vikar Rasool Wani, AICC Jt Secy Co incharge, Working President Raman Bhalla besides Pranab Shagotra, Ex MLA &DCC President Krishan chand Bhagat Narinder Sharma, Shakeel Shah,Bhupinder Singh, Rajveer Singh Vijay Sharma, Jatin Sharma & other senior Leaders joined in Udhampur while in Jammu a host of senior Leaders joined them including Ex PCC President GA Mir, Ex Dy CM Tara Chand, Mula Ram, Ravinder Sharma, Balwan Singh, Yogesh Sawhney Manmohan Singh, SS Channi, Rajnish Sharma, indu Pawar, TS Bajwa, Balbir Singh, Shabir Khan, Ved Mahajan, Gurbachan Rana, Hari Singh Chib, Vinod Sharma, Dwarka Chaudhary, Bhushsn Dogra,Vijay Sharma, Udey Chib, Shashi Sharma Shiv Kumar, Naresh Sharma, Narinder Gupta,Vijay Shastri, Suresh Dogra, Karan Bhagat, Amrit Bali, Ajay Lakhotra, RS Nathu&other top leaders, Ex Ministers, legislators, DCC presidents, frontal heads & Corporators took part in the processions besides the party held series of protests ,meetings and press conferences at different parts in the province including at Vivekanda Chowk Jammu, Udhampur, Rajouri &, Sunderbani, Nagri- Kathua, Doda, Kishtwar, Poonch etc. to intensify the natiomwide movement against Modi led BJP government. An impressive Mashal procession was taken out by the party from Shaheedi Chowk towards main city in the evening, raisin slogans in favour of Congress leadership especially Rahul Gandhi and higjlighting the blame of BJP attack on democracy, constitition and suppressing the voice of opposition from raising people's issues. Led by Rajni Patil and PCC leadership, the processionist marched carrying Mashals & flags, raising slogans' like -Lok tantar ki hatya band karo etc, they demanded JPC in adani issue, "Jawaw do Jawab do, Hisab hisab do, BJP hisab do. A large number of workers and leaders joined the yatra. Earlier at Udhampur Rajni Patil questioned PM Modi and entire BJP for it's silence over the Adani issue and asked Prime Minister to answer the questions raised by Rahul Gandhi in the house. She said asking questions in the country , under BJP government, has become a crime. If you ask uncomfortable and unfavourable questions in the house, you are shouted down, your speech is expunged and your are suspended and thrown out. If you speak outside in public, you are booked and punished. All agencies are misused and pressurised to silence the opposition. Going to people is the only option to protect freedom of speech and right to ask questions to the government, which is most precious right. JKPCC Chief Vikar Rasool wani said that people are being crushed through various means and burdened with huge taxations, price rise and huge unemployment while their representatives are being booked, intimidated, threatend, booked, jailed etc. The opposition togather represents more population than the vuling govt, as their vote share, put together, is higher than govt but they are not allowed to raise real issues of public concrn. The people should rise against the oppressive and anti democratic measures being adopted to save democracy. Manoj Yadav also lsmbasted th Modi govt for its anti democracy and dictatorial policies and said people are the best answer to this regime. Raman Bhalla lashed out the anti people approach and decisions of Modi govt and the politics of vendetta of BJP government. He said BJP will be wiped out in Jammu Kashmir whenever elections are held and this is reason behind delay in assembly elections.
