Family members of KP killed by terrorists seek justice | ‘Please help us, we’ve nowhere to go in Jammu’ | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 3: Family members of a Kashmiri Pandit Sanjay Sharma, who was shot dead by terrorists in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district in February this year, are wandering from one place to another in Jammu. Talking to Early Times, family members of the 42- year old slain Kashmiri Pandit, said, “We have left everything behind and come to Jammu. For the past one month we have been wandering from one place to another. We were told that one of the family members would be given a job and all the possible help will be extended.” They said, “We have no source of income as our bread winner was snatched by the terrorists. We had to leave everything behind and run.” “We appeal to the government to provide one of our family members with a job. Provide us a roof over our head and get us enrolled in the migrant list,” they added. Family members of the deceased man said that they met UT BJP President Ravinder Raina and reminded him about the promises that were made to them. “He (Raina) told us to write an application and he would forward it to the Lieutenant Governor. We are victims of terrorism and are seeking justice. We are at the verge of starvation. We need help. Please help us,” they said. |
