POK's nod to Sharda Peeth corridor proof of Modi Govt's righteousness: Kavinder
4/3/2023 11:11:20 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 3: Senior BJP leader and former deputy chief minister Kavinder Gupta on Monday said that PoK Assembly's nod to Sharda Peeth Corridor proposal made by Home Minister Amit Shah has testified that the people living across the LoC are also endorsing the policies of Narendra Modi-led dispensation as tyrant Pakistan has failed to win their hearts despite passing of over 70 years.
In a statement issued to media persons, the BJP stalwart leader said that the response to HM Shah's proposal from across the LoC shows that the people out there are also endorsing the policies of BJP Government and want to openly support it for the righteousness it is representing in India and abroad.
Kavinder said that on the first Navratra the Home Minister Amit Shah while inaugurating the Sharda Mata Temple along the border in north Kashmir's Teetwal has made a proposal of opening Sharda Peeth Corridor on the lines of Kartarpur shrine and on March 29, 2023, the PoK Assembly passed a resolution favouring HM's proposal. He said that debt-ridden Pakistan has done nothing in PoK except traumatizing the people and that was the reason behind the population looking towards Indian initiative, which is likely to improve the socio-economic condition of the people there besides generating bonhomie among the stakeholders.
The senior BJP leader said that the momentous decisions of the Modi Government are so meaningful that people of Pakistan have also started endorsing the same fearlessly as it is not easy in Pakistan to take such a stand in favour of India.
